SOS - Safer Outside Schools.

Hello All,

This morning i attended the Minsterley Primary school to take a look at parking issues and the safety to children , parents and other road users. Sadly outside every school at certain times there will be issues due to the volume of traffic and footfall. We teach children to Stop, Look , Listen and think before crossing the roads for their own safety , but when cars are parked on the Yellow Zig Zag Lines that clearly read “ School Keep Clear ” then this makes it really difficult for children to cross safely. 

I had to speak to a male this morning who was parked on these Yellow Zig Zags and ask him to move , i was met with an apology . 

SNT Safer Neighbourhood Teams want to make sure everyone is safe when off to work or schools in the mornings , an apology for parking in a dangerous place is just not acceptable.
